At Reliable Formed Plastics, LLC, we provide vacuum forming for the food and beverage, retail, aerospace, and OEM industries. Most thermoplastic sheet materials including ABS, acrylic, polycarbonate, and polypropylene can be used to create custom displays, enclosures, and consumer goods. Our vacuum forming equipment is capable of forming sheets up to 12′ in length and 6′ in width, with a sheet thickness between 0.020″ and 0.25″. Draw depths of up to 3′ are possible, depending part geometry. The wall thickness of a part will decrease as draw depths increase. Engineers ensure that the necessary rigidity is retained in the final part shape. While many thermoforming providers focus on high volume, low-cost stock items, such as packaging, everything we make is custom. As a result, our engineering and value added services are specifically tailored to providing high quality, custom products with attractive lead times.
Because tooling costs are much lower for vacuum forming when compared to other molding processes, vacuum forming is an economical option for a range of production volumes. Engineers can assist customers in finalizing their builds for compatibility with the thermoforming process. Prototype molds are used to prove builds before full production tooling is fabricated, preventing wasted time and material in production. In addition, we can work with existing outside tooling for customers seeking a new vacuum forming supplier. Request for Quote today
